About Me
Welcome! My name is Brooke and I am the founder of Bodies by Brooke. I have been in the fitness industry since 2012 and have worked in every position within it. I currently compete in powerlifting and am an avid mountaineer. My fitness journey has been all over the spectrum, from being out of shape and treating my body poorly, to being my most fit self. I’m had my own fair share of poor body image issues/poor mental health to the having the highs of feeling my absolute best and everything in between. From striving for appearance goals to learning how to love my body strong, I’ve tried every fad diet, trend and failed countless times. Through my own struggles and journey, I’ve come to realize that health is so much more than physical appearances, and being happy is the ultimate goal no matter your size or shape. While I specialize in the physicality’s of strength training, weight loss, mobility and much more, I also promote body positivity, personal growth and just feeling good about yourself in my gym! My goal is to motivate and empower you to be your best self and guide you along your fitness journey to get results, while having fun in the process! My motto is to focus on progression, not perfection and building a life you love. The culture I have created at my gym is all about learning how to safely exercise, meeting you where you are, and gradually pushing you past your own limits. I have opportunities for you to do this in private or join a like-minded community in a class room setting. I’ve trained with Brooke at previous places she’s worked at and I’m so happy she has her own studio now! She’s an awesome trainer and one of the few that both cares about helping people make their lives better AND knows what she’s doing! Most trainers don’t correct form, don’t seem to care about anything but the money they get, and treat people like it’s an assembly line and just go from client to client without forming that personal bond that’s so important. Brooke takes time to get to know you, what you like and don’t like, and what injuries/physical limitations you have so she knows how to get around them. She’s also good at pushing you to do better and motivating you. Plus, she has all the equipment she needs and in an awesome private (and air conditioned!) space! No going to an ordinary gym and dealing with machines or weights being in use, or the jerks that go with it!
